  • Phoenix Select.

Another superlative Phoenix mandolin. Phoenix mandolins are always very light and responsive, you can feel them resonating as you get them out of the case!

This beauty has a very full tone with fantastic volume and complexity. It has plenty of oomph for the bluegrass players with a deep and full, loud chop and responds excellently to the heaviest pick or the lightest touch. It barks or sings sweetly, doing whatever you ask of it. A very versatile and wonderful mandolin.

Red (Adirondack) spruce top, red maple back and sides and a Hiscox case.

  • Collings OM1.

Classic mahogany OM from the Austin, Texas team. This is an incredibly versatile guitar with perfect balance from the lowest bass notes to the highest trebles. Deep and well defined bass notes, rich and complex mids and clear and precise trebles. Ideal for fingerstyle but capable of much, much more.

  • Collings Waterloo WL12X.

The WL-12 is a new variation on the flagship WL-14 that brings together the elements of maple back and sides, vintage x-bracing, and 12-fret construction to create an entirely new Waterloo experience. By joining the neck to the body at the 12th fret, the bridge is positioned closer to the center of the lower bout, producing a rich and open tone with stronger low end response than you would typically expect from a parlor-sized guitar. Maple back/sides make for the perfect tonal compliment to the body design, adding focus, projection, and a pronounced front-end attack that is sure to inspire players of nearly any acoustic genre.

As a standard, all WL-12 models feature a moderate oval-shaped neck profile with a fully adjustable truss rod, drop-in saddle, and a vintage "iced tea" sunburst finish. Hardshell TKL case included.

All Waterloo models are handmade in Austin, Texas.

  • Collings OO1 flamed maple.

Gorgeous flamed maple, back sides and neck make this OO1 from Bill Collings look as stunning as it sounds. It has all the versatility, depth of tone and clarity of the mahogany OM with a little added sparkle. The OO is my favourite body size and this little beauty sits in the lap very comfortably for sofa noodling without losing hardly a tad in the volume and projection departments.
