The acoustic music company has been set up by enthusiasts to supply enthusiasts and professional musicians. It breaks our hearts to sell you some of these instruments, we want to keep them all ourselves. Between us we have many decades of experience. We aim to offer a service second to none. No instrument will leave our shop without having been checked and professionally set up.

The Mandolin Room

Whist we offer Guitars and Mandolins at all prices our speciality is small makers. We like to deal with people we can talk to, 'luthiers not businessmen.' I have been to the workshops and met most of the makers. This way we can convey your wishes right to the workbench and sell you mandolins and guitars that have been painstakingly made by master craftsmen.
The Handmade Guitar Wall
A lot of work for the small luthier, less than 2 hours production for the big names.

Trevor Moyle is the owner and Mandolin Man. Having played the mandolin for over 23 years and still sounding no better than 29 years ago he has a passion for the instruments and nearly thirty years business experience (and an ever growing collection of mandolins). He doesn’t keep any regular hours in the shop - due to lack of office space - but is usually near-by, if you would like him to be there for your visit just let him know by email or phone.

Aims (no this is not a mission statement)- to be the recognised leader for mandolin family (mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin, bouzouki and cittern) sales in the UK and Europe. Being the only UK stockist for such brands as Webber, Rigel, Heiden, Phoenix, Capek and Lebeda.
- To be the leading UK outlet for hand made guitars from the USA, sole stockists of, Goodall, Bourgeois, David Weber, Gallagher, Ryan, McCollum.
- to sell the best quality instruments available at any given price. If we don't think its good we won't sell it.

- to fully inform the customer about the instruments and their history, how they are made, with which woods (and the qualities of the different woods used) and who made them.
