  • Lebeda F5 1996 'Special' – USED.

Please note these are not the correct photos. More photos to follow.

Flamed maple bound F5 from Mr. Lebeda in spruce and flamed maple, created in 1996. In great condition. I know the previous owner played it long and hard and you can hear it in the tone. This is what is meant by opened up, powerful but with great depth and warmth, fantastic projection and definition. With hard case.

  • Ellis A5 Deluxe Used.

Another stunning mandolin from Tom. Adirondack top, flamed maple back and sides, triple bound top, back and pickguard, ebony fretboard with 28.5 mm nut width, ebony bridge, engraved James tailpiece, abalone headstock inlay and a TKL case. The sound is incredible, loud and full with that incredible mid range pop that only the best f hole mandolins have. It is remarkably responsive, one of the loudest chops I've heard but sweet and resonant when asked.

In excellent condition with some light playing marks.

Weber's top of the range F5, Adirondack/red spruce top, beautiful fern headstock inlay, spectacular flamed maple back and sides, radiussed fretboard, tone bar braced and a Weber hard case.

It has lovely dark bass and warm middles with clear trebles, a very full and rich tone with great playability and fantastic response from the lightest touch to a heavy pick. Plenty of cut and chop for bluegrass players and others wanting to be heard with depth and complexity making it great for anything from folk to classical. A superb all-round mandolin.

  • Weber Gallatin F5 - F Style - F Hole.

I first played a Gallatin in the States in the mid nineteen nineties and remember it still. This is an example of where every cent has gone into the sound. With no bindings and a satin finish it looks great.

With a solid hand carved spruce top, solid hand carved maple back and sides, solid cast tailpiece and Brekke bridge it's the least expensive US of A hand-made F5 around. The basic spec of course does not affect the sound, this is a bluegrass cannon, bark and bite a plenty, volume to challenge those b*njos but with enough complexity to make a great all-rounder. With custom hardshell case.

  • Weber Gallatin A5 - A Style - F Hole.

Fantastic value A5 from the Weber team. The Gallatin mandolins are designed to get a great sounding mandolin at the best possible price. It has no bindings and satin finish, it looks great and is tone bar braced. It has a Weber solid cast tailpiece, traditional Brekke bridge, radiussed Ebony fingerboard, dual action adjustable truss rod, nickel Grover tuners and comes with a deluxe hardshell case.

It has a very punchy f hole sound. Plenty of power and volume for the bluegrass chop with depth and enough resonance to make it a great all-rounder.

  • Goodall Traditional OM (TROM). USED. With Baggs Anthem pickup.

This beautiful Traditional OM from James has a non standard Adirondack top. James has exceeded his usual standards with this one. It has a depth of tone that shouldn't come out of a relatively small body, rich and sweet but well balanced with good definition and plenty of volume.

    In excellent condition.
