  • Pava A5 Player sunburst gloss.

Mandolins don’t get any better than this!

Pava's mandolins sell as quickly as I can get them and there is a very good reason, they are incredible, immaculate fit and finish, the best tonewoods available and fantastic tone.

This beauty has great volume with an immense chop and great depth and warmth. It plays beautifully and responds equally well to the gentlest touch or going for it with a heavy pick. Pick your style from bluegrass to classical, this is a mandolin for everyone.

  • Eastman MDC 805 mandocello.

    Its back in stock.

Oval or f hole for a mandocello? It would seem logical  that a cello would be better with oval holes given that bass and resonance is the point of a cello. I was surprised when I visited Bill Bussmann to hear the incredible bass from his jazz guitar bodied, f hole, octave mandolin, so surprised that I insisted he sell it to me! This Eastman cello proves the theory that somehow a jazz guitar body produces a deep and resonant sound. It has incredible warm and dark basses with rich and thick resonance, it plays easily and is a very fine mandocello. Comes with hardshell case.
