  • Fantastic Lyon and Healy Style A, believed to be 1920 or 1921. Original tuners, bridge, pickguard and case, including the little side extension, believed to be for resting in your waistcoat pocket!

The case has been re-covered and has a plaque bearing the name of Bill Yohey, more info on Bill HERE There is also an old LP of him included (see photo ) with him pictured on the cover with this mandolin.

So not only a very nice piece of history but a beautiful and great sounding mandolin. It has a very rich and full tone. Lyon and Healy mandolins are favoured by classical players but it is more than capable of almost any style.
