Mandolin News.
Its been a long wait but the Heidens are here. Waiting for hours for them to warm up when they arrived was torture! Michael’s reputation speaks for itself, ask John Reischman, there’s not much I can add. I never thought I would have three such fine mandolins between my walls. Its hard to get any work done with them calling me! I will probably keep one but as they are all so amazing have decided to wait to see which sell and keep the last one.
If you can’t afford a Heiden we have two fine new f hole mandolins from Rolfe Gerhardt at Phoenix and Mark Franzke at Flinthills, a used F5 from Mr Lebeda, folk mando from Phil Davidson and a Fylde Bouzouki.

Guitar News.
Just two to add to our growing collection of used guitars, as I write we have five martins, five Taylors and guitars from James Olson, Huss and Dalton, Guild, Lance McCollum, Froggy Bottom, Ralph Bown, David Hodson and Breedlove.
I am working on some new projects over the pond, nothing advanced enough yet to even drop a hint but I hope there will be some exciting news to announce soon.
Since John Pickard left I’ve been in the shop for some very long hours. We’ve had some applications from folks with decades of work in guitar shops who don’t have a basic knowledge of tonewoods or seem to care! So if you or anyone you know has some management experience and passion for and knowledge of fine acoustic guitars send me an email and I will forward a job description. It’s a great job for someone who loves great guitars (I do the mandolin stuff).
| Martin HD28 | Vintage Guitar | £1350 |
| Bourgeois OM custom | Vintage Guitar | £1695 |
Happy pickin’
