I have one of the biggest collections of mandolins available in the world today, from the best mid-range instruments to the work of world class luthiers such as Mike Kemnitzer (Nugget Mandolins), Michael Heiden and Hans Brentrup. I also have used and vintage mandolins, few come with pickups but we can install them on any instrument..

I specialise in hand made 'bluegrass' mandolins from small workshops and individual luthiers. That is mandolins with hand carved tops and backs, not the strict usage of the term bluegrass mandolin the F5, see my 'Mandolin Family Explained' pages for details. I don't have many flat top/folk mandolins and don't have any bowlback mandolins. This style of mandolin comes with two body shapes A style (teardrop ) and F style (with scroll), both are available with oval and f holes (A4/A5 and F4/F5), all are suitable for all styles of mandolin music, oval hole being more resonant, f hole having more clarity.

The best way to appreciate these amazing instruments is to visit and spend a few hours in our playing room. If you can't visit I will deliver to anywhere in the UK and most parts of the world. All my mandolins are set up by my technician.
