Harvey Leach Acoustic Guitars

I have been an admirer of Harvey Leach's guitars and inlay work for a long time. When I met him it stuck in my mind to commission something and now that dream is coming true. He is famous for his work for Martin and many others, having worked on guitars that sell for over one hundred thousand dollars.

Harvey's inlay work is beautiful and inspirational, ranging from the most stunning 'tree of life' fretboard inlays, to wildlife and Japanese art. We are currently working on the first guitar's design, it is expected late this year. It will be a theme depicting my love of the scenery of the American South West, from the well known Grand Canyon and Monument Valley to lesser known sites such as Dead Horse Canyon and the Escalante area (oh and of course a cactus somewhere, my first business was called Cactus Leather after my first visit to the area).

What can you say about the work of a genius inlay artist? This guitar is even more stunning than I imagined when I first thought of it and talked to Harv.

But Mr. Leach doesn't just have a reputation for his inlay work, it sounds great too. Very rich and warm with fantastic balance, definition and projection.
