The Dusty Corner Sometimes the finest guitars and mandolins fail to find appreciative owners. It doesn’t mean that they are lacking in any way, in fact they are often some of our favourites but we like to find them loving homes and allow them to play some music, therefore we offer them at reduced prices. They are all new with warranty. These instruments are not dusty, they are shiny and set up. They may display some minor play wear obtained whilst at TAMCO. The Dusty Corner also has instruments that we won't be re-stocking. |

Gallagher G-50
Was £1750, Dusty Corner price £1495.
Another great flatpicking dreadnought from Don, this G-50 is in spruce and mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and bridge and bone nut, b/w/b ivoroid binding and gloss finish. It's a very good price for a hand made American guitar. Strong focused bass, well defined, vibrant mids and clear bell-like trebles. No wonder Doc Watson plays Gallagher, these are the flatpicker's dream machine.

Santa Cruz D/PW Custom Koa with Fishman pickup
Was £3995, Dusty Corner price £3500.
Beautiful custom dread personally built by Richard Hoover. It has great power and balance as well as looking like the dog's roller skates. The tone is incredibly rich making it a very responsive and versatile guitar. It flatpicks with the very best but responds equally well to a light touch and fingerstyle.
With all these custom options the new price would be about £7000.

Eastman DG2 Bacon
Was £1295, Dusty Corner price £1095.
Second in the series of Eastman collaborations with David 'The Dawg' Grisman. This is a reproduction of his 1920's Bacon Artist mandolin. Commonly known as Bacon and Day but actually the Bacon Banjo Company they were better known for their banjos.. In 1940 they were bought out by Gretsch. The Bacon Artist is a rare beast indeed, I've been trying to get my hands on one for many a year. They are held in high esteem for the amazing design and tone. I am therefore grateful to the men from the East and Mr. Dawg for producing this fine facsimile. The tone is rich and deep with a chunkiness usually only found in oval holed mandolins from individual makers, it has plenty of volume and warm mid range with bright, ringing trebles. With hard, lightweight violin style case.£ 1,095.00
