Sergei de Jonge Guitars Sergei de Jonge is someone I have heard about for a long time. My technician trained with him and has been telling me for many years that he is one of the best. On his visit I found out what the fuss was about and immediately bought TAMCO’s first guitar from him. Sergei met Jean Larrivee in the early 1970s and made his first guitar then, working also with Grit Laskin. He set up his own workshop in 1972 and has been making guitars - with a few breaks - ever since. He now works from a workshop in a beautiful setting in rural Quebec with the help of his six offspring as and when they are free or around. |
