Kent Chasson Guitars Kent says; My guitars blend time honored traditions with state of the art innovation but it's not the traditional hide glue or the contemporary carbon fiber struts that make my guitars special. It's the passion, the training, and the 30 years of experience I bring to this craft. Plus the hide glue and carbon fiber. And the wood of course: every piece hand picked and well seasoned. |

Chasson Signature Dreadnought
Wow! The bass of a dreadnought but much, much more. A dread I could take home.. want to take home.
Someone who played it before it crossed the pond commented "Sounds like a dread with some sophistication.".. that's a great way to put it.
The neck is adjustable to change the action so you can go from powerhouse picking to gentle fingerstyle in a jiffy.
Kent says "One of the things I've worked hard on and am really happy with about this guitar is the blend of the traditional and contemporary. I grew up in North Carolina around a lot of Bluegrass and traditional Appalachian music but there are plenty of people building traditional dreads and doing a great job of it. I wanted to build something that gave a nod to that tradition but was decidedly my own."
