The Dusty Corner

Sometimes the finest guitars and mandolins fail to find appreciative owners. It doesn’t mean that they are lacking in any way, in fact they are often some of our favourites but we like to find them loving homes and allow them to play some music, therefore we offer them at reduced prices.

They are all new with warranty. These instruments are not dusty, they are shiny and set up. They may display some minor play wear obtained whilst at TAMCO.

The Dusty Corner also has instruments that we won't be re-stocking.

A fantastic light and very responsive guitar with immaculate workmanship. Its a half inch smaller than an OM (but going by the sound you wouldn't know it) and therefore with a 24.9" scale its a cinch to play. It has great volume, strong and well defined/warm bass, rich and complex mids and sweet and clear trebles. This is my first from Pat and it definitely won't be my last, I am very impressed.

Another very elegant guitar from Pat. Its very light and responsive with fantastic playability, a fourteen a three quarters inch lower bout and twenty four point nine inch scale make it a joy to play. The tone has mahogany and Lutz's expected sparkle with great clarity and projection, the twelve fret body join gives a great richness and body. This is a very expressive guitar. There is a CD of build and finished photos in the case.

In excellent condition, new price was £5995. There was a lot of excitement created about this beauty in a build thread on the AGF. It was well worth the wait. I love Tim's idea of including a bag of wood shavings and other bits and pieces.. see the photo.

It sounds tremendous, a big and warm sound but with great articulation and the clarity and definition of cocobolo. It responds to a nail-less finger as easily as a heavy pick. A fantastic fingerstyle guitar but capable of much more.

Excellent condition slope D made in Dana's workshop in 2005.

Adirondack and rosewood make for a very powerful guitar with endless headroom, huge basses, awesome warm and full mids and bright and loud trebles. Anyone who know Vo Fletcher it's previous owner will know that this is the kind of guitar that Vo goes for. Built for performance and filling a venue with great definition and projection it also responds very well to a gentler approach.

Was £5795. Dusty Corner price £4495. A few light pick marks on the top.

I’ve have never known a sixteen and a half inch guitar feel this comfortable, the Manzer wedge (originally designed by Linda Manzer) really works. This incredible guitar has jumbo power and depth but responds delightfully to the lightest touch, an unbeatable all-rounder.

A regular customer spotted Chris' work a while ago and I'm very glad he did. This is a beautiful guitar with with a very solid tone, solid seems a strange word to use but what I'm getting at is chords that sound completely even with no strange beats or wolf tones roaming around. Individual notes are strong, well defined and full, the overall tone is dark, rich and vibrant.
